The ELIY Association (a window onto Israeli-Jewish dialogue) was established as a new organizational framework for a long-standing, intensive activity that has been running for over twenty years, initiated by Rabbi Eli Linker and a team of dedicated volunteers.
The association's goal is to strengthen unity in Israeli society and empower it as a Jewish and tolerant society — through a real, face-to-face encounter between diverse groups within the Jewish people and the Haredi community.
We open a wide window for teenagers, pre-military academy participants, students, soldiers, professionals and other groups to take a close look into the depth of Haredi life — through tours, lectures, study days and get-to-know-you sessions, eye-level learning and dialogue meetings, panels and bridge-building conversations.
And above all: authentic hospitality over experiential Shabbat weekends, in homes and Haredi communities across the country — in Jerusalem, Bnei Brak, Beit Shemesh, Telz Stone, Tzfat, Rechasim and Elad.
